This is exactly why I think it's funny that half of the country is up in arms about all of this. It's been no secret that they are only open 6 days a week and it's been no secret that they close on Sundays for religious beliefs. im not going to discriminate against someone because they are religious or a republican...that would make me a hypocrite...i dont agree with ed snyder on a lot of things 9 (true story: i wrote the team a letter after it invited palin to a game) but that doesnt mean i think hes a terrible person...

now if i found out he was supporting neo nazis or something like that then id never give him another cent for the rest of my life...just like people arent protesting chik fil a because the owner is religious they are protesting him because its come to the forefront that hes a bigot and a hatemmonger....now maybe ed snider is as well...but i dont see it...in fact the ed snider foundation is fantastic...particularly the stuff it does for the inner city...

Snider is a rich guy. A really, really rich guy. Dudes like him tend to vote with the GOP because they're interested in protecting every cent they have. I don't fault him for that. Just ate there with my daughter. About a month or so ago I went on their website to tell them how much I appreciate their food and customer service. They sent me coupons for free meals.

I could really give two shteins I generally do things like defend chic fil a to piss people off. See how easy it was to get people riled up over something so stupid? Know what's even worse than whacko religious freaks is people who get up an arms over petty nonsense. Chic fil a is a great fast food joint, if they chose to donate to an organization that is for traditional family values well then good for them. I'm 100% for gay marriage but if youre going to cry and protest when someone exercises their 1st amendment rights than you're no better than the crackheads you hate.
