Completely forgot to post about this last week.

So when I flew back to Cali from Spokane, I was "randomly selected" for the body scan.  The line was much shorter than the other line, so I was kind of cool with it.  So I get scanned and the TSA agent asks me to step aside for a pat down.  I asked why I was getting a pat down and he said that the scanner can't see through flap on the cargo pockets on my shorts.  This guy was surprisingly polite and friendly and he limited his pat down to my cargo pockets.  Seriously might be the first professional acting TSA agent I've encountered.

But the moral of the story here is that millions of dollars of technology can be rendered completely useless by a farging cargo pocket.  Yay, America!

this fight so is stupid. everyone, even the dio-est of liberals, goes to places and gives money to people or companies that do hateful things. so to pick a fight with the goat chicken place is just moronic. cause instead of them you go to the joint down the street where the owner gives 50% of his income to the catholic church who then funnel that into funds to protect child rapist priests.

but whatever. i aint goin there no more.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

This is actually a pretty valid point.  Doesn't matter where you shop or eat....the owner of the place (or the corporation) probably makes financial contributions to organizations you don't like.  They probably disagree with some or many of your political, social and religious views.  So if you're going  to boycott a corporation like Chick-fil-a because you don't agree with the owner and you don't want him using your money to fund whatever cause it is you're against, then you might as well boycott every corporation in this country.  Stay out of the shopping malls, Wal Mart, Target, Best Buy, Movie theaters, etc.  Don't buy corporate made items like televisions, blue ray players, computers or cell phones.  Because I can guarantee that if you got a list of every organization that every business/corporation donates to, you'd find one thing or another on every single one of them that you don't like.  What are you going to do....boycott the world?  Good luck getting the message out with no internet, dummy.

ice grillin you

so you should starve to death because what you eat MIGHT be made by a hatemonger?

thats almost worse than being a hatemonger yourself

i gave chik fil a the benefit of the doubt for years...i think it was you sarge (and maybe romey and/or others on this very board) who told me several times that the owner was a religious zealot and i responded by saying i have never seen hate out of him and it would be unfair to negatively judge someone simply for be religious....its well known im an atheist but i have nothing against people being religious...i did my due diligence on the guy for years and couldnt find anything that would have made me boycott him...and im someone who doesnt even like chik fil a that much and rarely went....but i always said if he goes looney and gives me a reason then thats it....well im there now....same thing i did about 15 years ago with coors lite

I don't blame anyone who stops eating there but the overreaction that people are having is hilarious.  Take the moral high ground if you want.  Don't eat there so that you're money isn't being used to fund hate groups.  I get it.  I haven't eaten there for probably 20 years (not for personal views...I just haven't gone).  But for the entire country to basically spend the last 48-72 hours (or however long it's been) ripping the owner about basic human rights while their entire closet is filled with designer clothes and shoes made in sweat shops is laughable to me because every single corporation out there is taking the money we spend on their product and doing something with it that we might not approve of.  So if you're going to go over the top with rants and blogging and facebooking and tweeting about it, then don't be a bitch about it and go all in and boycott every company who contributes money to something you don't agree with.  But no one actually has the balls to do that.

ice grillin you

they dont go on a buckwild rant against civil rights then no one has to come back on them....you are acting like everyone woke up one day and said today seems like a good day to pick on chik fil a....those iceholes puffed their chests out...now they have to deal...all the other stuff is irrelevant and just trys to draw the attention away from what chik fil really is...rip the protesters not the hatermongers...i know you are not right wing in the least but you are espousing classic right wing defense mechanisms

and since chik fila has officially gone bonkers a lot worse has come out....its been discovered that they have given millions to exodus international...which is one of the most atrocious hate organizations on earth

Ed Snider is a huge backer of the GOP, I'm sure at some point he's donated money to them. He's also against same sex marriage. This would be like boycotting the Flyers because he supports the GOP. The whole thing is ridiculously overblown and stupid. I'm going to Chic-fil-a today to boycott the boycott.

I've always known they are shteinbags--they make a f'n point out of closing on Sundays because GOD--but I was weak and could not resist...until now.  This is the last straw.  I've been outside the Chick protesting for the last six days.  Not only am I never going to eat there again, I'm going to work tirelessly to make sure no one eats there again.

The committee has ruled that they must go.

Jesus Christ what is wrong with you? I'm making it a point to eat there today because of shtein like this.

I have personally scared away more business than you could ever give them, so I win.

This is exactly why I think it's funny that half of the country is up in arms about all of this.  It's been no secret that they are only open 6 days a week and it's been no secret that they close on Sundays for religious beliefs.  I mean, have people been walking around thinking that this guy has a casual relationship with Jesus?  This dude is hardcore religious and to suddenly be outraged that he acts like every other hardcore bible thumper is hilarious.

SD is on point about Snyder too.  How does it feel Havas to know that some of your season ticket money funds the GOP?

Also, I'm 99% positive that Dio's post was sarcasm, especially the part about him protesting for 6 days.

LOL @ the KFC sign.
