i love how dio likes the o's now that they are good but not popular yet

give it 4 months. once camden is filled up for big october baseball ol' beardy mcditch digger will be running errands during games and going to whole foods in his prius with his reusable bags to get his herbal tea.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Johan gave up back-to-back-to-back home runs vs the Yanks today.  Wonder if any other pitchers have ever done that in the start following a no hitter.

PhillyPhreak54

And Terry Collins blamed himself for Johan stinking tonight. The reason? Because he gave him extra day of rest. What??

Did Johan hump his leg and shoot a load on him?

Did Terry sing to him and call him his hero again??

The farging Orioles lost.  Glad I had other things to do.

Millwood had a no hitter going through six and was removed for Furbush (lol)...and then Furbush is removed. Another Astroslike combined no-no coming?

edit - Millwood injured himself warming up in the 7th. He took himself out of the game. No word on if he was sitting on a stool huffing and puffing.

Washington may not lose again.

They're about to have this debate on baseball tonight....is Strasburg the best young pitcher in baseball?

I think at this point I'd still take Kershaw because he seems to be more likely to stay healthy but those two going forward should be dominant....and how much longer until Beachy enters the conversation? Does he have to get his K rate back up to what it was last year to be considered?

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Sgt PSN

I'd definitely take Kershaw.  Mechanically, Kershaw is practically flawless which bodes well in terms of his long term health.  If he breaks down, it's because of bad genetics.  Strasburg on the other hand is extremely undeveloped when it comes to mechanics and his arm already has 1 surgery to show for it.  They're both dominant.  But Strasburg might only be dominant for 5-7 years while Kershaw could be for another 10+.
