oh wow, they didnt charge $3 extra on tickets after a season where fans were revolting against the team. what a slick pr move, really smart.

its only meaningless when you dont have to pay them...you are the first person to scream out how the easgles can do anything they want with ST prices and the lemmings will still buy them...but then you say that no increases in four years is meaningless?

im as big a banner inc critic as there is but imo no increase in four years is pretty impressive

they never had the window to do it

1. best shot was 08 (coming off nfc title loss/donovan gag job), but it would have been two years in a row of increased prices.
2. 09 was back to back dallas debacles to end season. no.
3. 10 was losing to joe webb at home, taking dallas game off, losing to gb in wild card round. no.
4. 11 was this disastrous year.

essentially they avoided a massive pr hit/wip foaming at the mouth for a few weeks. big ups.

guess you dont get how this pro sports things works....teams dont really need a reason to raise tickets prices when they have a waiting list

and certainly making the playoffs last year was well more of a reason than they needed

bottom line is you can spin it anyway you want...but four years of no ticket increases is four years...and for one of the better all around franchises in the nfl that is not even close to meaningless

TEAM UPDATE: Eagles announced they have signed LB Monte Simmons. Simmons is listed as 6-3, 226 and spent his rookie year (2011 season) on the 49ers practice squad. The LB played collegiately at Kent State, and is from Swissvale, PA

On that note, they'll trade down select an undersized pass rushing specialist DE move him to OLB, have him start week 1 and the rest will be history.  A very short history.
