I'd rather they take Howie.

Same...not to mention Grigson actually played in the NFL and isn't some glorified jew accountant

SunMo

yeah i figured that if the eagles are letting him walk then he was a heckert guy, not a howie guy
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

colts hired him

you pretty much have to let someone walk for a gm job....its not like he was making a lateral move...eagles would look really bad if they didnt...and after the mini beef with spags they didnt wanna be known for that

the bigger issue is that he should be the eagles GM not howie farging roseman

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Holy shtein!

I was just looking over the numbers of the Eagles cap.

You could cut the following players on the current defensive roster tomorrow and STILL not create as much dead money as if you cut Brandon Graham:

Jason Babin+Trent Cole+Darryl Tapp+Phillip Hunt+Mike Patterson+Cullen Jenkins+Cedric Thornton+Moise Fokou+Keenan Clayton+Casey Matthews+Jamar Chaney+Brian Rolle+Akeem Jordan+Greg Loyd+Nnamdi Asomugha+DRC+Hoselio Hanson+Curtis Marsh+Domonique Johnson+Brandon Hughes+Trevard Lindley+Curt Coleman+Jaiquawn Jarrett+Colt Anderson+Tom Nelson.

In fact with the exception of Asante's $2M hit and Nate Allen you could cut the entire defensive roster of the 51 man team with less of a cap hit than if you cut just Graham (assuming I get an 'A' for my math).

Like it or not, this is  actually is quite a testament to the FOs ability to write contracts.

Btw, Nnamdi's cap value in 2013 is $15.3 million and his cap hit if cut then is $900,000 = $14.4 million savings if they cut him after the 2012 season. Unless they can get somebody in to make him All Pro, C Ya.

Don't be surprised if they pull an '02 and draft a CB in the first round since Asante's number will also be sky high by 2013 if he's still on the team then, and DRC isn't necessarily that promising right now. It just sounds too much like an Andy move.

Edit: I believe you could cut every linebacker on the roster and the cap hit to Brandon Graham would still be >10x greater. Confusing. Not sure which would be better.

but can cut most of them with little penalty either this year or next year

i wonder if banner inc will be laughing at the giants this offseason because new york cant cut any of their defensive talent without penalty

Banner and Roseman jack each other off every time JPP jumps offsides.

Sgt PSN

Difference between the Giants and Eagles is that if the Giants cut any of their defensive starters, the D is weaker as a unit.  But you could cut about 6 or 7 guys from the Eagles starting D and it would be an immediate improvement.

Quote"This is something we're thrilled to be able to do," said Banner, who said this is the fourth year in a row prices have been stable. "There aren't many teams who are selling out their stadiums and have a waiting list of more than 40,000 who are doing that. In fact, I would say there aren't any teams like that who haven't raised prices for four years."

they arent raising ticket prices and joe banner has come to collect his pr reward
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Dearest Joe -

As a season ticket holder, I think I speak for the majority of us when I say that I will gladly pay an increase in my annual ticket spend when you put a product both on the field, and on the sidelines worth said increase.

Here's an new idea - Win a farging Super Bowl, then raise prices and everyone is happy.

Till then, no one gives a fat guys shtein that our tickets won't be raised.

Sincerely,

Fed the farg up

P.S. farg YOU LARGELY.

does any other franchise pat themselves on the back for meaningless things more than the eagles?

oh wow, they didnt charge $3 extra on tickets after a season where fans were revolting against the team. what a slick pr move, really smart.
