Ha.  I can remember as clear as day the moment I realized that my mom would buy me Pumas if she could afford them, but she simply could not.  And my goddamn childish whining wasn't helping matters.

Sure, I was 32 years old.  But I remember it!

QuoteThe Houston list also turned out some originals on the pink side from Aabida to Zyrianna and Aa'den to Z'yun on the blue side.

One girl each received these names: Amazing-Grace, A'Miracle, Apple, Babygirl, Beyonce, Dae'Gorgeous, Elektra, Forever, Gorgeousg'zaiya, Myranique, Paisley-Ann, Passion, Praisegod and Radiance.

Some of the more creative boy names appeared inspired by faith: Divinefavour, Ezra-Nehemiah, Godswill, Goodness, JesusNazaret and King-David. Other little guys were dubbed Baby Boy, Clever, Handsome, Sir Genius, Memphiz and Tuff. In true Texas flair, one boy was named Stetson and another's first name: Dallas Cowboys.

WTF.

General_Failure

These are names that people give their characters in MMOs. In fact, I may have used Sir Genius for one before.

The man. The myth. The legend.

This guy was mid/late 50s and lived in Trevose, and none of your family steps foot anywhere south of Sesame Place, so I'm safe

Trevose. That's the heartland.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Any of you guys ski? I'm looking to rent a house (Vermont?) for a weekend, but am clueless...I skiied once for a weekend in Burlington a few years back and had an amazing time. Someone else planned it, so I don't know what cost what, so, as I usually do when I need help, I come to CF...

Not a clue.  I've got friends with rich parents who have their little ski cabiins in PA, NY and VT so I've never had to pay for anything other than lift tickets.  I suggest you find similar friends.

this will be the first time that when DH says, "I'm going skiing" he actually means skiing not doing rails off of the truck of someone's car at a tailgate
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.
