I can't think of a worse f/a signing in Flyers history especially considering the length of his deal, the amount, what other goalies signed for, and how zesty he's played.

The sunny's of the world are going to come along and defend the move saying the Flyers needed a goalie completely ignoring the fact that he's been awful all season.

the problem is they succumb to 20+ years of pressure to get a goalie and brutally overbid just because this guy happened to be the best on the market rather than properly scouting him and looking at the big picture...ive said this before and ill say it again too...i dont get how you overhaul the team with a bunch of new players and rookies yet go balls out for a goalie...wouldnt have mattered cause he isnt good enough anyway but just from the aspect of how to build a team it didnt make much sense...unless he were 23 and a top young goalie in the league

Two of the goals were cringe-worthy. The third was the defense's fault. Still, giving up four goals including one with 100 seconds(!) left is pretty horrendous even on the road.

Jizzgalov sucks.

Giroux, on the other hand, is pretty good.

he gave up 4 goals last night, 3 of which were not his fault, especially 1 and 4. i know all the goalie coaches on the board will say other wise though.

and funny how nobody said anything when he looked good in phoenix. or how nobody says anything how he got better in the 2nd period, just like the rest of the farging team after being off 4 days.
