and he doesnt suck he just isnt very good and has a contract that is as disgraceful as it gets

put it this way with bobs improvement he isnt tangibly better or worse than him...cept he makes a billion dollars and is signed for the next 40 years

i dont doubt he was somewhat screened but when the shot and screen are at or above the circles you have to stop the puck..its plenty of time to react...if somone is on top on you in the crease or theres numerous bodies all along the path of the puck i can see

that one last night wasnt necessarily a terrible goal but its a goal you gotta stop

he gave up 4 goals last night, 3 of which were not his fault, especially 1 and 4.  i know all the goalie coaches on the board will say other wise though.

and funny how nobody said anything when he looked good in phoenix.  or how nobody says anything how he got better in the 2nd period, just like the rest of the farging team after being off 4 days.

He's at the bottom of the league in save % and middle of the league in GAA. In other words he does suck and his contract is awful. The icing on the cake was when he said "I have zero confidence right now"...that's good to know.

the contract is awful, i never disputed that.

to say he sucks is just dumb.  he's off to a rough start, that's for sure.  but he obviously has pedigree as a good goalie in this league.

Nice win although once the Pens woke up things got scary. No way Giroux was over the line when the puck crossed. Horrendous call.
