I don't understand this, I've gone from Eastern Shore white trash to an Awesome MA elder. The sarcasm is dripping from my monitor.

I guess I'd say igy is a awesome government working liberal. Hell, anyone who'd shell out the bucks for that pig I saw so this bunch around here can eat like they probably never get to can't be all bad. I just wish I had time to stop.

Watched Mega Engineering on Dsc channel, great show on the idea of a floating New Orleans. Sections are built on floating octaganal sections, and taken to sea were they are joined together. The structure would be flexable at the joints in order to handle the changing surface of the sea, as a rigid structure would break up. It's a brilliant design.

I'll admit, that's pretty farging cool.  But we don't need to extend our population into the oceans. Build 1 city on the ocean and sooner or later another will pop up. Then another and another.  Besides, who the hell wants to worry about getting sea sick at mardi gras?

Well what needs to be done is investment into space exploration. Start working on how to colonize the moon or mars...because we are increasingly overpopulating this place

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

I thought we had already been over this and come to a solution.

farg ocean cities and moon colonies. Zombie Apocalypse. Done.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

Munson

You'd figure one of these nano bots or cancer killing viruses will have to supply us with that soon enough

Or global warming. Or when oil runs out.

Poop Transplant

QuoteGrant's had some poop problems for the past several months -- bleeding rectally, and what not -- and the procedure that will likely "save his life" involves taking his wife's feces and transplanting it into his body.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Was anybody in Georgia at the end of June? I was. I was driving through there on my way to Philly.

I just saw there is a still unclaimed $77 million powerball jackpot whose ticket was sold in GA very possibly the day I was there. I often get powerball tix when I stop for gas but don't always keep the best track of them, especially on road trips. I think I may have a legit shot here. I figure I just reduced my odds from 195 million to one down to a million to one. Yay me!

I was in Georgia at that time.  Didn't buy a ticket, though, so my chances are zero to one.
