Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

West Virginia to the Big XII is a done deal

correct me if im wrong but i think ncaa rules make you fly if the bus trip is more than 8 hours or something. though that might only apply to football and basketball.

The latest idea being thrown around is merging with C-USA and MWC to create a 28-team 4-division conference

Big East: UConn, Rutgers, Cincinnati, South Florida, Central Florida, East Carolina, Navy
Central: Marshall, Memphis, Southern Mississippi, Tulane, Alabama-Birmingham, Rice, Houston
Mountain: Wyoming, Air Force, Colorado State, New Mexico, UTEP, Southern Methodist, Tulsa
West: Boise State, Hawaii, UNLV, Nevada, Fresno State, San Diego State, San Jose State

if bill bradshaw cant get temple in that abortion he should be thrown off the top of the tech center

not even going to pretend to understand wtf that mess is or how it is feasible.

BigEd76

First they're assuming Louisville will leave for the Big XII, San Jose State will join from WAC and Navy will join from being an independent.

The four remaining Big East teams go in the East, along with Navy and the two teams from C-USA that are expected to join Big East anyway (East Carolina, UCF).

The three teams already leaving WAC for MWC next year (Fresno State, Hawaii, Nevada) would join with Boise State, San Diego State and UNLV from MWC, then SJSU would come over from WAC for the 7th team and form the West.

The other two divisions are a grouping of the remaining C-USA and MWC teams.

The four division winners would face off over two weeks to determine the BCS spot.

There's also a 32-team version that includes Louisville, Temple, Louisiana Tech and Utah State.

not for non revenue sports...not even the schools with the biggest sports budgets could afford that much less a wva

if they play at phoenix...i suspect track and field has meets at central locations...not sure tho

what a lot teams do is make a trip out of it where they play arizona and arizona state and maybe stop in at ucla on the way back or something

one of the obstacles of texas joining the big ten when that was a possibility was the fact that would the money they gain from the big ten compensate for ahving to fly non revenue teams to state college versus busing them to waco or college station...and thats texas

sounds like it would be a lot easier to create separate conferences for football and bball and make all the non revenue sports in entirely localized conferences

but that would be too logical for a corrupt organization like your boys at the ncaa, now wouldnt it
