i haven't tailgated for any of the games here yet, but the tailgate scene is unlike anything i've ever seen in my life.  i'm going to be blitzed all day Saturday.  They said there are about 75k-100k people coming to Tuscaloosa just to be in the area for the game who aren't even going to it.

It's not LSU/Alabama, but tonight's game was wild, with Northern Illinois beating Toledo 63-60.  Over 1100 yds combined, the two QBs combined for 11 TDs and 0 INTs, NIU had a guy return kickoffs for TDs (100 and 95) on the first two possessions, and Toledo's WR had 5 TDs, tying Randy Moss' MAC record

lsu alabama is going to be a 3-0 slugfest....the talent on those two defenses is probably higher than six pro teams

huge game on ESPN tonight.  The winner could end up in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, and that's so much better than an invite to the Big East

Feel like we've had this argument before with Tebow's Florida teams or Leinart's USC teams facing the Lions or Dolphins and consensus was that the NFL teams would still win because they're physically stronger across the board and have more experience

those florida teams in no way compare to bama or lsu this year

southern cal was good and very talented but their offensive line would have been merked by these defenses and couldnt have stood up physically against these teams....in fact they were lucky auburn was left out that year because they might not have even beaten them
