One thing I like about not being a comic book nerd (other than the obvious social advantages) is that I have a much easier time enjoying movies that come from comic books because I don't know all of this crazy background info that drives the nerds mad when it is left out of the movies.  That said, The Avengers looks like it'll be pretty good.

the thing is comic book nerds really like most of the movies that come out..or at least way more than they pretend to....but if they openly like the movie their existence ceases to exist.....their whole being comes from the faux rage of a movie not mirroring the comic or the book....so really as a nerd to have your life mean something you have to flip out about every one one of these movies
