I hadn't seen this before. At first I was going to put this into the Phila story thread until I read more into it. It is so appalling I'm only posting part of the article but including the link for those who want to read more.

Story contains graphic descriptions in paragraphs five through eight.

PHILADELPHIA (Reuters) - Two employees of a Philadelphia abortion clinic where live, viable babies were allegedly killed and a patient died after being given on overdose of painkillers pleaded guilty on Thursday to murder.

Guilty pleas to third-degree murder were entered by Adrienne Moton, 34, and Sherry West, 52, who both worked for Dr. Kermit Gosnell at what prosecutors have described as a decrepit and unsanitary clinic known as Women's Medical Society in West Philadelphia.

Due to a court-issued gag order, attorneys declined to comment on reports that no plea agreement was reached in the case.

Sentencing was set for December 2 by Common Pleas Judge Benjamin Lerner. The maximum penalty for third-degree murder is 40 years in prison.

Seven more defendants face charges in the case, including Gosnell, who a grand jury in January said, "killed babies and endangered women. What we mean is that he regularly and illegally delivered live, viable babies in the third trimester of pregnancy -- and then murdered these newborns

just got this email from my kids' school district

Franconia Township Police are investigating a possible child luring incident that occurred on Monday, December 12, 2011.  This happened at 3:20 p.m. near the intersection of Keller's Creamery Road and Indian Creek Road.

A twelve-year old girl told officers that she had stepped off her school bus and noticed that a car was following her as she walked towards her home.  After a short distance, the car pulled alongside her.  The lone occupant, a middle-aged male, rolled down a car window and asked her if he could take her picture and if she would pose for him.  The girl ran to the safety of her nearby home as the car left the scene.

The driver was described as a white male in his mid-forties.  He had white, medium length hair with sideburns.  The car was a small tan four-door.

i tend to be one that thinks that parents nowadays are bombarded by the scare tactics of the news and half of their fears are made up, but more and more of this shtein is happening for real

I read the other day that another report of this happened somewhere in the Delaware Valley, West Chester perhaps?, where the driver of the car was waving a girl to go ahead and cross the street in front of the car - and she reported it as a luring attempt.

Yeah, I posted this on FB. Absolutely abhorrent. They should all be expelled from school and their fraternity chapter should be shut down at Vermont. Frats and sororities at my college were shut down for FAR less.
