"The Playboy Club" is the first fall casualty

Shocking. Never saw it but the commercials looked awful. Same with that Pan Am show.

2nd episode of Terra Nova was meh again but apparently did pretty good on ratings.  I'm annoyed that they just jumped right in with the drama though rather than focusing a little more on character development.

MDS

im mad you are watching a dinosaur show
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

SD

I watched 10 minutes of the Terra Nova pilot because there was nothing else on and it was awful. This is from someone who loves sci-fi and dinosaurs and shtein.

SunMo

i thought i read that terra nova got bad ratings and was on the verge of cancellation?

and jesus christ my girl is filling up the dvr with everything CW does.  vampire diaries, secret circle, the ringer, it's hideously awful.

#6859
theory on the poising and Gus at the end...from another board

SPOILERS

When Walt is on the patio with the gun the gun points to a Hyacinth plant. The camera zooms in on the plant and it is clearly a Hyacinth. Hyacinths are poisonous. They cause nausea, vomiting and diarrhea-especially in children. It is treatable but can be fatal in large doses.
Walt poisoning the kid is the only thing that makes sense. It shows his complete brilliance.

It explains why they chose to show us Saul at Brock's house earlier this season.

It explains why we didn't see ANYTHING Walt did during the day, in this episode. We only saw him in the morning, and then when Jesse shows up at his house.

It's Walt's genius plan to kill Gus by using Jesse, turning Jesse against Gus. Then it opens Jesse up to devising a plan with Walt to kill Gus.

Gus reads Jesse at the hospital when Jesse says the kid was poisoned. Gus realizes that Jesse thinks GUS poisoned the kid. Then it clicks in Gus' head, that Walt poisoned the kid, and Jesse refusing to leave the hospital was all a ploy to draw Gus out into the open for them to kill him. That's why Gus seemed to have super senses all of the sudden. It all clikced in his head. *WALTER POISONED THE KID*.

Walt did it. Its the only way any of it makes sense. Walt did it. I didn't wanna even believe it or be open to that idea either at first, but its true. Walt did it. If Walt didn't do it, there would've been a few scenes this episode that showed Walt's activity's during the day. They purposely let us forget about Walt by not showing us ANYTHING he did that day. They purposely show HUELL patting Jesse down. They purposely showed us Saul at Brock's house, so we, the audience know that Saul knows where Brock lives.

Saul called Jesse a million times, to make sure he showed up at his office after work

yep..Im rolling with this theory as well...damn I love it.  nice call.

SunMo

i copied that from another website.

i didn't mean to imply that was my claim, but re-reading it that's how it appears.

Rome

The latest episode of Terra Nova was not good.  It wasn't bad either.  It was just mildly predictable melodrama.  I'll keep watching mostly because the Doctor/Mom is farging hot.

General_Failure

So I hear there's a small chance The Simpsons might finally end.

The man. The myth. The legend.

BigEd76

yep, because the voice talent wants to be paid even more despite pretty much sleepwalking through the last 15 years

Rome

I had no idea it was still on the air.

MDS

interesting theory on BB there jianny

so i assume the last episode is jesse finding out walt not only poisoned the kid, but he sat there and watched jane die

then jesse kills walt

SunMo

i think that theory works because gillian said that Walt would perform an "irredeemable" act this season.

they are trying to make walter a sympathetic hero who turns into a truly unlikeable villain

MDS

they already did that, pretty much no one in the cast is supposed to be rooted for

they are all terrible people. but thats the point.
