Reasons you're sick of being an Eagles fan

Butchers Bill

In addition to everyone else's points, I was sitting at the game yesterday wondering why do I even watch this team anymore?  I will always be a fan - there is no question in that, but I have finally come to the conclusion that I just do not like the style of football being played in Philadelphia.

I grew up watching the tail end of Vermeil's tenure, and I prefer smash-mouth offense and defense.  I do not like the WCO, and while I understand that is the way the league is trending, the complete lack of balance on either side of the ball is nauseating to me.
I believe I've passed the age of consciousness and righteous rage
I found that just surviving was a noble fight.
I once believed in causes too,
I had my pointless point of view,
And life went on no matter who was wrong or right.

its not just what he says a lot of the time...its how he says it...being an ahole to people who are doing nothing more than their job is unbecoming...telling reporters not to ask certain questions or telling guys that completely reasonable questions are stupid is not a way to go about business and is not going to endear yourself to the fanbase

not answering questions and saying the same things over and over is merely annoying....but being a complete dick to the media and fans after horrible losses is infuriating...bill belichek can get away with it.....what the farg has andy reid ever won to justify how he treats people

most spot on igy has ever been.

adios Andy.

he asked andy what are the red zone problems and andy said turnovers are one of them but i know you were listening when i said that before....missanelli said something like but you dont give us anything...and andy says "youll get what i give you" or soemthing to that effect having to do with what info he gets....then missanelli started going hard on the ronnie brown call....asking how a run pass option like that can just come out of nowhere...and asked how often do you practice it....and reid said if you ever showed up to practice youd know

Reasons?  Let's see, Can I start with 1971 and conclude with Run/Pass Option?

What's crazy about that was that I used to be an asst coach on a midget pee-wee football team and during practice once,  our 7 yr old qb handed the ball off to the 6 yr old RB, but it was kind of a botched exchange and by then the kids on the defense were all over him.  The little guy gets scared, turns, and tries to flip the ball back to the qb, and of course it had disastrous results.  I call the 6 yr old kid over to me and I ask him to tell me what he could do to make the play work the next time.  The 6 yr old answered, "Well, I'm not gonna flip it back, but the next time I get the ball I will run it straight ahead and get as many yards as I can..." SMH, A freakin 6 yr old kid gets it, but a highly paid professional like Ronnie Brown and the rest of the coaching staff doesn't.....  Seriously problems here, y'all....

The 6 year old gave a better explanation than Brown did.

I didnt think I could hate AR any more than I do right now, but that smugness he directed at Miss with the "if you came to practice" comment just sent me over the top.

Dickhead, I dont care who was at practice, when and for how long - that play sucked, it was a surprise to everyone, and a tremendous mistake which is one of the key reasons you lost. farg you Andy, for not answering a question from a guy who is paid to ask questions.

There are exactly two things I'm sick of as an Eagles fan.

1. Other Eagles fans. Get a grip on yourselves. Are you all brand new to watching this team? This team can be beaten by anyone because the braintrust running it tries to outsmart everyone at all times rather than just playing/coaching football. After all these years I seriously have no idea how you all can still get upset about games like this. Not only is Andy Reid still Andy Reid, but we all knew going into this season that the defense was a hot mess. The big name signings were fun, but they didn't address the team's needs up the middle.

2. Fans of other teams assuming that I'm a Philly homer who buys into Andy Reid's horseshtein and the Dream Team horseshtein and blindly assumes that the team will do well and follows up that assumption by trying to zing me when the team loses. Dipshtein, I knew that they were capable of losing this game. I knew it better than most because I know this team and have followed them with a disgusting amount of enthusiasm for a long goddamned time. There's nothing you can say to me about this team that I don't already know, so please go die in a car accident.

So in summary, I hate fans of my team and I hate fans of other teams. To the shock of no one.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

"You would know how clutch that goaline pass/run option is Mike if you came to just one of our practices. We fooled Casey Matthews and Kurt Coleman 6 times in a row Mike! 6 times!! It works.

Next question.
