doctor on espn said hes out for a minimum of one year.....said you arent even allowed to drive a car for a year after a recorded seizure

he did say thats its possible he could play football again some day

Mike Patterson continues to be evaluated by doctors. AVM is not the definitive diagnosis despite reports to the contrary. per his agent.

Hopefully he is okay and hopefully he will be able to play again.

Not putting any bets on that one.

It's still going to come down to an issue of accepting liability. He can be cleared but the risk management people are never going to insure him. Also, with all the head injury stuff coming out lately it will be a public relations nightmare. Doesn't anyone remember the shtein storm after Bradley snuck back on the field for a couple of plays after getting knocked out last year?

he doesnt have a concusion dumbass.....he has mangled veins going into his brain....if he wont be cleared to drive a car for at least a year i doubt hes getting cleared to play professional football
