Nope. You're the only one.

On a serious note, i'm canceling on August 31st at the latest.  farg Netflix at least for a month or two.  I cant stream movies now, not a option yet.  I wouldnt have an issue with it, had Netflix said we'll put all of our catalog available to streaming, then i'd be ok with the pricing.

I cancelled the DVD plan already. Keeping streaming for now.

yeah, just pisses me off that they didnt start off with something like a grandfather'd in clause or whatever.  Right for the Juggular.  From what i've seen on CNBC there are worries about the backlash of this on their stock.  Who knows.  Just wish Netflix didnt sell their souls.

Checked out Netflix again a few months ago.  The performance over the television just wasn't worth keeping to me, and the selection of streaming movies pretty much sucked.

when they got STARZ it amped up.  But then they wouldnt allow Starz HD.

Is there a law preventing them from streaming new movies? If not it's only a matter of time before someone steps up and goes 100% net streaming making them irrelevant...sort of like they did to Blockbuster.

It's only six more bucks a month but I was gonna' cancel anyway. Gonna' try running a ehternet cable for directv on demand

DTV On Demand willl disappoint you.  Its good if your expectations are that anything you want to watch takes 30 minutes to download.

It's the studios.  They want a LOT of money to allow Netflix to stream their movies, as they don't get any revenue otherwise.
Haven't you noticed that Netflix (and for that matter, Redbox) don't release new films until about a month after they're on PPV?  Both companies accepted payments from several studios to delay release.
This isn't a shtein on the public move.  Obviously, Netflix wants to stream only, as it's more profitable.  The only way that's going to happen is if the studios are willing to allow it, and Netflix is going to have to increase their prices for streaming to pay for it.
I have Netflix because of the huge inventory they carry on DVD.  Until that becomes available over my Wii, I'd rather drop the streaming.

Agreed. Blame the studios, not Netflix.

I parked at a broken meter last week and ended up getting a ticket for parking at an expired meter..I just called the city and evidently, you're supposed to call and report broken meters and not park at them? There's $28 the city will never see.
