You are overlooking the distinct possibility that Hillis' image adorns the cover of the game in part because the game has lost currency with players and fans alike. No one really cares about it anymore. Sure, it sells every year and hard core heads will play and argue about each iteration's miniscule improvements...but the rest of us know that the game basically hasn't improved since EA got the monopoly...NFL2k5 continues to compare well to even the most recent Madden.

im guessing this is some kind of old person knee-jerk reaction to certain elements of the media scurrying facebook for information.

ive never done it but it can come in handy.
