i saw Let Me In the other day...never heard of it before but it's about this 12-year old girl vampire. pretty good. i think it's the little girl from kick ass and she's still too sexy to be a little girl.

That's a remake of a swedish film (Let the Right One In), which was the only one I saw.  It's supposed to be quite different from the American version.  I really liked the Swedish one.

animal kingdom -wild little austrailian movie about a crime family on the cusp of falling apart...quite suspensful with some nice twists and turns...the plot is different but in terms of style it reminded me a lot of the departed minus the great acting..definitely reccommend

7/10

Finally saw Social Network.  Good movie, and it had a few embellishments as expected...

Toy Story 1-3: Caught them at random times on Disney with the brat over the past month or so, saw 3 a few nights ago. 3 was probably the best but they were all outstanding.

Taken: My expectations were a little high because so many people said it was really good, but I thought it was pretty bland.

Up In The Air: Re-watched this again the other night, the first time I saw it I liked it but didn't think it was anything special. Watched it a second time and I liked it a lot more.

Anna Kendrick isn't great - a little squinty-eyed and such - but she could get it.

I didn't think the trailer looked funny but Cedar Rapids ended up with good reviews.

Rome

i haven't been feeling well for a few days so i decided to stay in all weekend and veg out on the couch.  i got to see a lot of movies and saw one today called stealth.  jamie foxx was in it (he was awful) and some guy who looked vaguely familiar was also in it (who cares).  sam shepard was also in it playing the commanding naval officer.  he was very good.

the movie overall was fairly average except for one thing.   and that would be this:

Oh my god, are you resurrecting conversations from a 8 years ago that happened on an entirely different message board? And am I actually remembering that conversation and allowing everyone to know that I know what you're talking about?
