There is no way IMO Kolb can produce behind the line, so I can't see Vick going anywhere. He is the best chance for fatty to still have the job in Philly so while I love Vick, I also hate him for making Andy look good.

I'm on board with Vick. I like his intangibles and his arm strength. They need to improve the O-line. Didinger on post game hit the nail on the head and that is they rely too much on him to do everything. No running game and no O-line which basically puts the team on his shoulders.

QuoteJoe Montana had Bill Walsh. Tom Brady has Bill Belichick. Terry Bradshaw had Chuck Noll. John Elway had Mike Shanahan. Troy Aikman had Jimmy Johnson. Bart Starr had Vince Lombardi.

And Michael Vick has Andy Reid  :puke :puke :puke

The impressive progression from last season to this season, makes me want the Eagles to at least use the franchise tag on Vick.

Yeah, Vick reverted to "old vick" in the last few games but look what he did in the few games before that when the oline was actually giving him a little bit of time. He was standing back there and making ridiculously accurate throws. As long as the portection improves next year, we should get more good then bad from Vick. But you keep him because if the protection does suck, he gives you a much better chance than run backwards and throw it at the ground Kolb.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if Vick didn't return next year.

I wonder who the top suitors would be?  Vikings? Panthers? 49ers? Seahawks? shtein, taterskins?

Whoever is willing to throw a shteinload of money at him that's guaranteed without a lot of stipulations.

Reids comments didn't sound very committal.

Maybe the Eagles should preemptively offer Washington Kolb for a 2nd and a 4th that could become a 3rd.

There's some talk it's possible there won't be a franchise tag next year.

That is the only reason why Reid would be non-committal.  Slam dunk if there is one.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

That is an incoherent mess. Stay off the tequila.
