maybe i didnt see every single throw....but i didnt really see him getting bailed out at all....in fact i saw him come a james jones drop on a ridiculous throw away from going for a half a thousand yards

there isnt a throw that guy cant make and make consistenly...his arm is the complete package

Driver made a sweet one hand grab and the other receivers were jumping and diving all over the place making catches. He had some really good passes in stride, don't get me wrong, but more than half his passes were great individual efforts by the receivers. Rodgers has a good arm, no doubt, but he was also getting Brett Favre lucky on some of those throws.

well i dont believe a throw is bad if it doesnt hit someone in stride...sometimes the coverage the rush or the match up dictates you throwing the ball high if you have a big wr vs a small corner.....to a wr's back side or perhaps low where he has to dive or make an adjustment to catch it but where that was the only place it could be caught or to a spot that lowers the chances of an interception

in 35 or whatever attempts im sure rodgers didnt throw every ball perfectly but from what i saw he was off the charts yesterday
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

I watched the game because Pocahontas is a Packers fan and Rodgers was indeed off the charts.

I think we can safely assume your evening, with no game to go to, went a little like this.

Sarge Hatred? Or is that Rex Ryan?

Wanna see something depressing? Take a look at New England's picks in the upcoming draft:

1st Round
1st Round (OAK – Richard Seymour)
2nd Round (CAR – 2010 3rd Round)
2nd Round
3rd Round (MIN – Randy Moss)
3rd Round
4th Round (DEN – Laurence Maroney)
5th Round
6th Round (NO – David Thomas)

Picks traded away:

4th Round (SEA – Deion Branch) (via DEN if higher than NE pick)
6th Round (DEN – Laurence Maroney)
7th Round (ATL – Quinn Ojinnaka)
Conditional Draft Pick – Round Unknown (KC – Jarrad Page)

Is the draft format going to be the same as last year? That 33 pick is probably as valuable to them as the 30 would be.

if only new england were the gold standard

They'll just have to settle for all that sterling silver.

either way that team is beyond ridiculously coached, and is only going to get easier for years to come with those kind of picks and that qb

whats even more stunning is that defense was supposed to be the most inexperienced in the league (and it showed in pass d in the beginning of the season), but they have it practically tossed in shut out games the last 3 of 4. they are almost a spitting image of the 2000 Rams on offense and defense, but with far far less talent at the offensive skill positions.

The kid that graduated from my high school and plays for the Jags made the pro bowl this year :yay

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

SD

you still had a faster 40 time

supposedly Denver is switching back to orange jerseys full-time in 2012.  dunno if it's the alternate they have now or what

Jets fined $100k for the tripping incident.

Take that, Jets organization!
