no i disagree with that

imo as of right now theres def less chance of getting nothing than there is of getting the blizzard

this is a little early to go on record but im gonna do it anyway and say its 100% we get at least six inches...imo that is the low end of lets say 6-24

the only reason to believe it could miss entirely is because this is a la nina year and storms like this are very rare...at the same time there in nothing in any model that would suggest a charlie brown moment

phattymatty

so somewhere between 0-24 inches. i can agree with that.

MDS

is there a more surprising hobby for someone to have than havas and weather? who saw him being hurricane schwartz jr coming?
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

LBIggle

i hope you all get snow murdered.

ice grillin you

last five or so model runs show this going more off the coast significantly reducing snow totals....especially for philly....dc/balt would get 2-3 inches and philly possibly none...still a lot of time and the potential is still there for a decent to big storm but not looking as good as last night

my man said the jet stream is much more powerful than originally anticipated and it is running straight thru the middle of the country from like oklahoma to north carolina rather than curling up thru the ohio valley and into the middle atl/ne

There is considerable overlap between the intelligence of the smartest bears and the dumbest tourists." - Yosemite Park Ranger

BigEd76

Hurricane Havas droppin knowledge, stone faced and wearing a Barkley jersey

btw all the local news stations are now saying the same thing....little to no snow...

ice grillin you

latest euro caved to the gfs....la nina wins we lose...storm is going to move too fast and head out to sea rather than let the low dig it in and hold it so it can phase back around and over the 95 corridor...too bad because this could have been a monster

charlie browned

I farging just bought a snow blower and 18 cans of new england clam chowder because of you dude. You suck.

General_Failure

Well, now you can toss it all in the snow blower and have a party.

The man. The myth. The legend.

PhillyGirl

Great news. 5 miles in a blizzard might not have been much fun.

Exactly PG, if the drifts were higher than 4 feet, no one would know you even ran the marathon

and now they wont cancel the eagles game!

phillymic2000

Same thing happened to us a few weeks back. Everything was reading 12-19" and then at the last min. The models changed and we only got 7". Sucked, but we've already had 16" so far this december and another 3-6" today!!

ice grillin you

people who know a hell of a lot more than i know said they ahve never seen models flip flop like they have with this storm

the blizzard is back on....lastest model runs showing 12-18 for dc/balt....same or more for philly.....and 2+ feet possible on the eastern shore of md (batten down the hatches shorebird)...with the winds we are looking at blizzard conditons for much of sunday into monday

a couples models are running with snow more in the 8-14 range but they seem to be in the minority....either way this storm has been one of the craziest to predict in history
