plus he was the number 2 pick....people below him arent supposed to be better...and really thats the comedy part of all this...how bad he is for a number 2 overall....its one thing if you flop but this guy literally cant play...hes validly terrible...i didnt expect a whole lot from him....but jesus its painful watching him

They had offers for him, no idea what they were but people said they were decent. I brought up the scenario during the draft of trading Turner + Brand and other crap for some cap space. igy said he'd do it, I was on the fence because I bought into the Turner hype. What I'm hoping is other teams go with the "he still has upside" mentality and make a trade for him. I doubt the Sixers are smart enough to pull that off though. I'm afraid what we have is Calbert Cheaney part deux.

turner is exactly what i thought he was going to be...granted its still early but he's never going to be more than serviceable.  get used to favors swatting him out of bounds like he did the other night.

and cousins is still gonna be the truth.

yeah...and he is horrid. When Doug Collins dnp's you and you're young and healthy you know there's problems. More than anything he's not a fit for this team. If Jrue wasn't so good I'd be willing to put him at the point to see if he develops, but as of right now he has no place on this team. The NBA isn't like other leagues where you have a guy with talent, can play them as a backup or in the minors and hope they develop, at this level you either sink or swim.

especially a three year college player whos gonna be 23....its not like he was a one and done 18 year old

that was one of my big things with him....the fact that he had no real upside for a #2 overall pick

I really bought into the Turner hype.  After watching him in the summer league are started to get concerned, but now jesus christ.  I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt because he was switching positions, but he hasn't shown dick.

Im laughing but that shtein is sad.  No one thought he would be this bad.
