Kind of like last night when a buddy of mine sent me this text right after Vick's first interception:

"Wait, Ron Mexico is human?  Maybe his herpes is just flaring up..."

Gotta give credit to the oline for opening up some nice running lanes for Shady on the final possession and credit Andy for sticking with the run during the final 4 and a half minutes and just running out the clock.  Fat Man did good last night.  Fat Man did real good.

Andy seems to be getting impatient enough to keep himself from being himself.  Fewer wasted time outs, fewer unnecessary challenge flags, better play calls, more open anger on the sidelines...  Pretty soon his press conferences will be interesting.

Ok, maybe not.  But I think it only proves just how much it was time to jettison Donnie Mac.  Reid is a better coach without Donovan, and Donovan is a worse player without Reid.  Bam.

MDS

best sunday night football ratings ever last night, over 23 mil

congrats, mr. banner!
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

DH

is that true?

if so, (and theres a season in 11'), the eagles may be on snf and mnf for half their season.

Eagles_Legendz

Yeah last night was the highest rated SNF game ever.  Eagles TV ratings are through the roof this season.  Mike Vick sells.

Don Ho

Wow.  Very impressive.  Maybe the NFL will give the birds a different MNF matchup other than the taterskins.  Seems like they play them on a Monday night every year.

BigEd76

pretty sure those ratings were also helped by the Cowboys being on

I think you and Sarge are right on. Vick and the young guys seem to have rejuvenated Reid. The young guys had the McNabb the Leader thing hanging over them like a wet blanket last year. You could see the chemistry and respect between Vick and pimp last night.

I really don't know why they can't mix in some runs all game long. They let the Cowboys D blitz and forced Vick to make some bad throws and take some nasty hits. They really had not committed to any run game until the last possession. Meanwhile, after multiple hits, 2 illegal, they ask Vick to run on a 3rd and 1 near the end and he takes another hard hit from Ware. Unreal, it really is. All I saw was pass pass, pass, draw run, pass and so on. Then with 4 mins left they run, and of course the Cowboys can't stop it and Vick takes no hits. Had they done that all game, you would of seen a blow out and probably alot better performance from Vick, less pain on him as well. They put Vick in a bad position and he payed for it. What happens if Vick goes down again, this season would of been over. Too much at stake here, they can pass at any moment, just please save Vick and run more. That is all I ask.

Constructive criticism. If you have nothing to say, why even bother. I'm just trying to figure out why they put the most valuable player on the team in bad positions. They just stick to the plan regardless of what the D is sending at them? Same thing happened in Chicago, except yesterday somewhat of a defense showed up.

Is "You're a rambling nimrod" constructive criticism?
