Speaking of Marshall, anyone see that play Sparano blatantly stole from Reid's playbook? The double reverse and pitch to the WR, where Marshall threw into the middle of quadruple coverage? Sweet.

I still hate the idea of the 18-game schedule, but whatever.  Probably going to happen.  Much better to have an 18-game NFL season than no NFL season.

Also, TMQ raised a good point today that there is absolutely no reason to force teams to have 8 inactives every week... that combined with a few more roster spots could get interesting.

Former University of Hawaii quarterback Colt Brennan remains "heavily sedated" as he recovers from several injuries suffered in a two-car accident Friday, his father Terry Brennan said this morning. 
 
"He's far from being alert," Terry Brennan said. "There's no real conversation with him other than he acknowledges we're here (with hand gestures). He hasn't been able to speak. He'll moan and groan, and maybe point to his neck brace. It's uncomfrortable. The have tubes and IVs. He has not conversed at all."

Brennan has a punctured lung, and fractures to four ribs, his left clavicle, a cheekbone and left eye socket. 

Sounds like Margarito last weekend.
