i used to go all out on the decorations especially the exterior of the house. now i put up as little as possible.

I like xmas. I don't celebrate the religious aspect of it at all, just the Santa part.  If I'm going to lie to my kids then I'd rather tell them about the fat man instead of the jeezus. The great thing about Santa is that everyone eventually realizes he's not real but that it's still cool to play along for a couple weeks a year.

I farging hate the holiday season. I can't even hide my discomfort and displeasure I feel from the week after Halloween until the New Year. I don't know what my problem is, but this time of year makes me cranky as shtein.
