I am kinda in the dark about something here. If people enjoy activities that are not enjoyed by several board posters they are considered (MA) and belittled? By he way, what is MA? And why is it bad?

MA = Middle America(n)

Doesn't necessarily refer to the middle of the country, moreso a group of people. Good examples of people that are 'MA' are Republicans, people that regularly eat at chain restaurants like Applebees/Olive Garden/Cracker Barrell etc. They more than likely listen to classic rock like Rush, the Eagles or Journey. Enjoy crappy movies like Armaggeddon and Forrest Gump. If a large segment of white people conform to one form of entertainment/standard they're 'MA'. For example, in football, people that are 'MA' like Brett Favre because he's a good ole boy who hunts, wears Levi's, and rides tractors.

and probably the wheelhouse of MA would be tourists in times square eating at sbarro

I used to hunt. I am thinking about starting again. I fish (big game, salt water). I play golf. I am a competitive barbecuer. I dislike chain restaurants. I have worked in NYC for years. I live on the Jersey Shore. I tend to vote Republican because they most closely match my values, but I don't consider myself a Republican. I like some country and classic rock (not Journey, they are pop and they suck) Am I MA?
