def no dominant team and unless the saints get their act together nobody scares me

but i dont know that that means the eagles can beat the best because i dont know if they are even a playoff team

at the end of the day will it matter if the best team in the nfc is weak if the eagles are the 9th best team in the nfc

i keep harking back to this

indy
@ wash
giants
@ chicago
houston
@ dallas
@ giants
minesota
dallas

if they can get thru that and make the playoffs then they are co favorites in the nfc with anyone you wanna put against them

I am terrified of the Cowboys being on a mission after losing four games that they could have should have won. As soon as they stop getting 100 penalties a game, which you know will happen, they are going to steamroll people. I am really farging happy that the Eagles don't play them next week.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

I'll play devils advocate on their second half schedule which I agree is brutal. The only team they can't beat in that schedule is Indy. The Giants are playing well but no better than the Eagles. Dallas scares me because of last season, but I think they can split. Minnesota is not that good. Chicago is a team they always struggle with but they're coming back down to earth. Houston should be a win and I think they'll beat Washington the second time around.

I agree with this.  They are as good as most of the teams on that schedule right now.  The problem with it is there is no cake game where the Eagles should just show up and win.  If they play like they did vs Washington, they will lose to every team on that schedule.

and theres no teams on there that cant beat them...thus before i bedome a full fledged believer i wanna see them go thru a nine game stretch with no easy games

the brutal part of that run is that the easier games are on the road...then again one of those games is wash who they lost to at home

im not taking a stab at the division games yet but that right there does not scare me

sure manning will probably torch the eagles like he does every time he plays them, but chicago just lost at home to seattle. yes that seattle.

the houston game is on a thursday night. dome team + philly cold + short week + soft team thats never won a big road game = eagles win

minnesota in week 16, meaning 41 year old brett favre hanging around in 30 degree weather for 3 hours. plus minnesota is 2-3 and not very good. that should be a win, too.

so ill say 3-1 out of the division to get them to 7-3 overall. if you simply split your division games thats 10-6. if dallas is toast by the time they play them, which is possible, thats 11-5. that probably wins the east and maybe gets them a bye.

im not sold on this team but i am sold on this conference being awful.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

every teams fans in the nfc can homer it up with their schedule just like you did with the eagles....except they get to do it with easier games

pretty much, which is why i wouldnt call this schedule brutal

its division games + winnable mostly home out of division games

3-1 is very reasonable from that stretch

OLine did an awesome job. Gotta give props to King farging Dunlap of all people. They gave Kolb time to drop make, make his read, and release without having to step backwards as he threw. I'm not convinced it's going to stay that way all year, so it's a rare chance to compliment them.

Maclin is the real deal. Not that there wasn't any real doubt about him, but the guy just finds ways to get open and make catches. Hopefully Pimp isn't dead because these 2 at WR for the next 8 years should make everyone wet in the pants after the slop we've had to deal with before.

Brent Celek-Where are you?

Tony G had 2 TDs', but very surprising that he didn't shred the D for a bunch of catches and yards. Props to Q and whatever LB they used to cover him.

Kolb showed what he can do with time. He carved up a D that a lot of folks were saying was underrated and playing well. Also took more shots down the field, which is great to see after the game 2 weeks ago. Looks like he'll be starting again this week, so lets see if he can keep on keepin on.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

I'm looking at 10-6/9-7 final record, which in the NFC puts them in the playoffs.

There it is.  A very doable 6-4 finish for a 10-6 final record and a wild card berth.  BAZAM

holy shtein...that was awesome.

do it again.

Wildcard? shtein 10-6 could win the division.

No way, man.  That kind of genius only comes once in a rare while.

PM me for the complete box scores of all 10 games, though.
