People have been knocking Kolb for his checkdowns, but the one thing I've said that's really showing today is that when Kolb (or any qb for that matter) gets first team snaps in practice it's going to show on the field. He's had 2 weeks of reps now and is undeniably better than when he came off the bench vs Washington.

Also, I propose we wear those pink shirts to spell out GO EAGLES next week in Nashville.

Only after we organize a group to wear loud obnoxious blue shirts like our "lady" friend at game 2 of the NLDS for tonights bums game.

Not to take away from him as he's looked great....but the oline is blocking well for him, and the Falcons have blown a lot of coverage. Lots of guys running wide open today.

We've been looking for people to compare him to, and it's ranged from Rodgers to Hoying...but I think the more we see, the more Tony Romo becomes the guy he looks like most. When he's confident and has time he can carve you up....but get in his face and rattle him and don't give him time and he crumbles.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Is there any possible way they can squeeze in another pass this game to get Kolb to 300?

McCoy almost broke that guys ankles.  Using up the clock now.   :yay

Good thing this isn't a close game, or people would be calling for Akers' head.

Too early to compare him to anyone really.  But he's not Tony Romo until he has an atrocious playoff record.  He's got 5 starts under his belt. But when you look at those 5 starts, 4 of them have been very good.  So given the limited body of work we have to judge him on, it's hard to argue that the offense isn't pretty good when he prepares all week with the first team.

Does Akers have a broken ankle?

WTF.

Don't worry, Andy Reid is his head coach, he'll have that terrible playoff record in no time

So they spotted the short kick, and then let it bounce out of their hands. Special teams are awesome.
