What it Feel like...Ooooh Sticky

I'm pretty sure that's not the first time he's ever said that.  Hell, I bet he said it at least twice that morning.

i can't imagine a better way to kill impoverished brown people weilding ak47s

so glad we're borrowing 5 billion dollars from China to build each plane

The F 22 is a fighter. For killing brown people with AK47s, you probably want a bomber.

Actually, it does both. It's main mission is that of a stealth strike fighter, but after air domination is achieved in whatever theatre you're fighting in, it also can carry out air to ground missions. The days of a aircraft like the B-52 carpet bombing a target are over, planes like the F-22 and the FA-18 Superhornet bomb with pinpoint accuracy. It's whats needed when your fighting impoverished brown people who are ready to die so they can screw virgins forever.

There you go, then. Money well spent.

Diomedes

You mean borrowed.  The money won't be spent until the interest is paid off in 2075, inflating the actual cost for these mega killing machines to 15 billion each.

But yeah, let's cut off unemployment insurance...can't afford that.

Clearly, the answer is pilot training.

Exportation, to Germany, Australia, South Korea, Japan, and yes, Irsael would cut cost drastically.

Rome

No farging chance that happens.   Not sure if you were being sarcastic there but the Raptor is literally a decade ahead of anything else flying right now.  I'm sure the Chinese have spies everywhere ripping off the technology as we speak but not even our allies are getting their hands on the F-22.

Rome

And by the way... no one detests war more than I do but we have enemies (and supposed allies) who would love nothing more than to see our country in smoldering ruin.  If we're going to eventually have to kill them before they kill us, might as well do it in style.

Headlines like this make me glad that someone has the balls to do what's necessary:

Not to mention that the perennial all world designers at Sukoi are developing a fighter that can go head to head with the F-22, and Russia is said to have plans to export up to 600 of these aircraft.

Sorry Rome, but the U.S. is never as far ahead of Sukoi designs as they'd like to think.
