Kolb was fine, he moved the ball. Again, if Shady doesn't fumble and they put points on the board there the Eagles have a chance to win. It's reallyl not his fault Reid was absolutely schooled by Shannahan. Shannahan knew Reid would come out defending the pass thinking Donovan would be airing the ball out, instead he grounds it out and Reid (typcial) doesn't adjust. The Skins D wasn't even that good, it's just they knew what Reid was doing. Kolb was fine, the haters keep looking at the end of the game but don't look at his drives when Shady fumbled and Peters was called holding.

That would be McDermott getting schooled by Shanahan.

And he moved the ball because he looked like Trent Edwards out there - checking it down before even looking at his deeper options.

I watched him throw behind Celek, miss jackson and miss Maclin. And listened to Aikman talk about numerous other instances where he failed to get the ball down the field.

He still played better than your boy McNabb.  That is not saying much though.  Again he checked down way too much, at the same time he made an unbelievable throw to Celek in the endzone.  They had a great drive at the end of the half that didn't get a chance to get six.  Not sure who to blame on that.

The skins had 0 points in the 2nd half.  McNabb had how many completions?  He got a near-game-icing 1st down but ran out of bounds to gift the Eagles a clock stoppage.  He threw out of bounds and at people's feet.

Kolb was infuriating but not awful considering the situation.

Hold up. I'm not complimenting McNabb and my feelings towards the slop that Kolb showed have zero to do with McNabb. Lets not make the two tied in together.

I thought Kolb looked indecisive in his reads and was generally zesty

Kolb had a lot going against him here:

I think it's gonna be Kolb's team again, at least for a while. So now Kolb gets to make his real debut:

1) Down 14 points
2) Against McNabb
3) In high winds
4) Having been undermined by the coach
5) Having the locker room behind another QB as the starter

This worked out well.

Also, it's a safe bet he didn't have a ton of first team practice this week.

All that being said, he was not impressive at all. He will get eaten alive if he plays like that against better teams. On the other hand, 1) We still haven't seen enough to truly evaluate his potential, especially considering the situation he was placed in today, and 2) He didn't cost the Birds the game. He came in when they were 14 points down, and would have won if Avant didn't suddenly have butterfingers. It was a total team loss.

Tra Thomas just took a little sideswipe at McNabb on the PE.com post-game show.

Talked about how 5 wasn't a leader who would get people fired up. Then he seemed to realize that maybe he shouldn't be talking about that and started smiling.

McNabb was a complete non-factor in this game, in fact if the Skins go in this game with Jason Campbell the outcome is the same. The problem with this game was Reid and the fact that he should have been fired 5 years ago.

So yeah, one QB threw TD passes when needed.

The other threw, well, lots of 5 yard passes in the middle of the field in a 2 minute drill and then an INT to seal the game.

I don't care what McNabb did or didn't do. He won. And he DID throw the passes he needed to make.

You Kolb guzzlers can go cry yourselves to sleep.

And Andy Reid, go farg yourself. If you can find your dick, you fat waste of breath.

He made first half throws, if Mcnabb made throws he needed to make it wouldn't have been a game.  69 rating he was awesome.
