ice grillin you

my worry is not stupid but stubborn

i truly hope they think cobb can be an nfl qb and if andy sees that i actually would trust him

my worry is that they know he doesnt have IT...but are being stubborn because they of the controversy over picking him trading their number one pick to dallas that year and then trading away mcnabb they want to prove so badly to everyone that they were right that instead od admitting he sucks they are going to try and shove him down out throats for a year or two to long

Excellent point, except I don't understand why anybody would trust the same people who try to cram players into positions they're not destined to play. LBs and DTs at FB and any defensive player can play at any defensive position.

Hopefully Kolb can go again soon though because I'd rather see him play how he's going to play than the other QB that Reid thinks is good

Rome

Reid has been watching Kolb since he was a college freshman.  They spent a second round pick on him when maybe one or two other teams in the league had him going anywhere close to that.  And they picked him when their franchise quarterback was theoretically still in his prime.

But yeah, they hadn't decided on him as the future until, like, July of this year.

Seriously, what is wrong with you guys?

Tomahawk

I'm not saying they didn't decide he was the future a long time ago. I'm saying if they're right, it's pure blind luck

i would disagree with that

i would say if they are right then they are pretty damn good at judging/developing qb's

they hit the mark right on with mcnabb when every other qb around him was crashing and burning

Actually, you're right...my blind hatred for Reid makes me biased

And I can see how Rome inferred that from my post about their exit strategy. But those are really the only games I have to judge Kolb by

Don Ho

QuoteHawaii 54, Houston 48 (3 OT), Hawaii Bowl -- Dec. 25, 2003: Unfortunately, most remember the postgame fight between the teams, but the game itself produced plenty of drama. Quarterbacks Kevin Kolb of Houston and Timmy Chang of Hawaii headlined an offensive explosion that featured 1,158 total yards.
