The Girl Who Played With Fire. Followup to The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. Same two characters are tracking down a sex trafficking ring. A little disappointing in the end, but not completely awful.

Avatar - Exactly what I thought it was going in and exactly what nearly everyone described it to be......an ok movie with amazing cgi.  Strictly from a visual perspective, it's fantastic.  I didn't care for the cliches either.  The natives in the movie were stereotypical Native Americans except they were 8 feet tall and blue.  And I thought the blood thirsty Marines were laughable.  Sure, we have a few idiots like that in the military today, but for the most part, our soldiers don't want to go to war and they definitely don't want to go to war against anyone who hasn't done anything to us. 

Overall, I'd say that you could watch this movie without the sound and probably be more impressed than if you had it on.

The Men Who Stare At Goats - Meh.  Not nearly as funny as advertised.  I fell asleep during the last 15-20 minutes.  Moderately enjoyable up to that point.

very naked lindsay lohan. naked alba (kind of). steven seagal. bad ass danny trejo just destroying people from beginning to end. don johnson. mexicans. more boobs. robert deniro. cheech marin.  michelle rodriguez. repelling down a building from some dudes intestine. crazy guns. more violence. and all throughout just horrible acting, cheesy lines and so many actual laugh out loud moments.

simply amazing.

SPOILERS:

I went in thinking it will be another dumb movie but it was actually really good. Some genuine scares in the movie too. The movie is about a Priest who really does not believe in God but still does his sermons and performs services anyway because he is damn good at it and it helps people feel good about themselves. He has a camera crew follow him around and document him as he explains how or when he lost his faith. The camera crew follows him to some hick down in Louisiana as he answers a readers request for an Exorcism, because he wants to show what a money scam Exorcisms are. Of course shtein hits the fan and you are left to wonder what is going on. The movie does a really good job at explaining everything scientifically as well so you are just left wondering whether its a neurological condition or possession by the devil. You can argue it either way.
