I'm feeling more and more confident about this game. I still believe the Birds will lose, but I'll go out on a limb and say the defense looks legit and chases Rodgers around all day.

Ok onto week 2:

They should be able to beat Detroit with Shaun Hill at QB. Detroit has a terrible secondary so Kolb (I think he plays this week) should be able to pick them apart.

Of course if they should also runt he ball about 20-25 times with Bell getting some carries.

The Birds got a huge break when Stafford went out. With him, I think they would've beat the Eagles.

If Reid doesn't farg this up, it can be a huge confidence builder for Kolb. Have him throw it 20-25 times, and pound the football. My hunch is this doesn't happen, the Birds win ugly, and there are even more concerns afterwards than there are this week.
