so, you guys decided to have another wonderful vagina monologue instead of discussing the possible treasures that could be found in mila kunis' pants ? really ? that just happened ?

This is pretty funny.

I saw Valkarie while I was on ship and then watched it again last night....don't remember if I gave my thoughts on the movie or not, so here it goes.

Overall, pretty entertaining.  No performances really stand out but I thought it was done fairly well all around.  Also did a good job showing that there was a lot of Germans who did not support Hitler and the Nazi regime, which is something that is largely ignored in most history classes and textbooks.

One thing about the movie that I liked was the fact that they didn't have all the actors trying to speak with German accents.  Because in reality, they all would have been speaking German to each other, not English, so the accent would be completely unnecessary.  A lot of movies don't get that and insist on having their actors speak to each other in a foreign accent when in actuality, they'd be speaking their native language.  Yeah, it's nit picky, but it's been a pet peeve for as long as I can remember.

hated The Hangover
will love a movie like Piranha
never watch Fight Club
Major League because they have too many cult fans

didnt hate the hangover

everyone loves piranah

watched fight club

never said major league had to many cult fans (anchorman does)

other than that another solid entry from a parentally raped pre pubescent juggalo looking mongoloid who lives in delaware

Sorry I can crack your code of hyperbole bullshtein all the time. You've def hated on major league because too many people like it/quote it, same with fight club. Apparently you can dish out the hyperbole, but you can't take it.

But it's funny that you comment on looks when you look like a slightly thinner Landfill from Beerfest. Carry on commenting on movies you will never watch.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

A friend of mine actually complained about the same thing, but in the other direction....saying he wished they'd at least give them accents or something blah blah. I'd rather them do accent from the country, or no accent at all, because it's farging annoying when they're supposed to be a Russian sniper and they talk with an English accent (Enemy At the Gates)

Rome

I saw The American last night.  First movie I've ever walked out on.  Left about an hour into it and I have no desire to ever seen the end.   Hopefully Clooney dies screaming, though, because he deserves it.

SPOILER!

Jack runs off with Pavel not too far behind.  Jack realizes someone is behind him and turns to fire. Pavel gets a shot off but Jack fires twice, hitting Pavel in the head.

Jack drives off to meet with Clara, only to realize he has been shot by Pavel. He slams his fist against the wheel; he realizes he won't make it.

Jack gets to the spot and raises his bloody (hand?  weiner?) to Clara who realizes something is wrong. Just as he arrives he slumps over the wheel, dead, blaring the horn. Clara runs to the car horrified.  The last shot pans away from the car to a shot of the tree skyline and a small white butterfly.

Too highbrow for an American, eh?

Yes - it's an art film about an assassin.  Woody Allen was up for the lead but Clooney beat him (literally) to it.

Hahaha... is that for real?

If so, I love you.

It actually is the real ending, apparently.  The ending seems pretty self-indulgent, and I'm assuming the entire movie kind of was too.

SunMo

saw The Expendables this weekend.  everything you'd except from this cast.

the dialogue is Tango&Cash-esque.  it's wonderful.
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

rjs246

I saw about 45 minutes of Funny People this weekend. It was laugh out loud funny one or twice but mostly it was boring and stupid and predictable while trying way too hard to be insightful.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

Rome

i'm a fan of anton corbijn's photography and i generally like clooney's movies, but self-indulgent pretty much describes the entire mess knows as the american.

The BIGSTUD

Clooney's movies have really sucked after Michael Clayton, which may have been his overall best movie he's ever done. Up in the Air was solid, but other than that? A bunch of garbage IMO.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.
