Of course the hype is annoying. That's because ESPN has 3 channels (not including ESPN U) which basically means they have 72 hours of sports to talk about over the course of 24 hours. And that's not counting radio either. Or Fox Sports/Radio. Or local sports radio and tv coverage as well. So they have no choice but to talk about shtein ad nauseum. The more hype the create, the more lemmings latch on to them.

Pitching in general has just been great. Blanton's been better, definitely a solid 4th, and the bullpen has GENERALLY been very good. It's the damn offense that simply isn't getting the job done.
