IMO Banner traded McNabb to "rehab." public perception after all the bumbling culminating in the the Dawkins - Brown fiasco's.   The Lurie/Banner standard is "gold" and somehow they believe they will make more by showing their not all about money....

in the same vein they gave cobb an extension that gave him 20 times more money than he would have made this year
