when he strikes out in the first inning with a guy at 3rd....not really necessary.

you dont need to whine about, or cheer, every little tiny thing that happens in the game. again its baseball. its six months and 162 games. its 9 innings and 300 pitches. i think we all know whats a big spot and what isnt and what needs to get broken down and what can just be left alone cause in the grand scheme of things it doesnt really matter.

You're right, in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter. The big picture matters.

But when youre sitting there watching a game you talk about it. When you watch every night you're up to date on the stats and highs and lows. So when Werth shungry hungry hippos to the plate with his horrific stats with RISP and fails again, or is working on s K streak, its comment worthy.

Like I said, like sitting at a sports bar or ballpark. Reactions.

And when Madson is about to piss it away, like he seems to do often, its comment worthy.

If you're a passionate fan the bitching and the moaning is allowed.  I waited 35+ years to have a forum like this to discuss the bums and waited just as long to watch them on a daily basis.  Yes we do go a little overboard at times - ask my wife, she's ready to throw my ass out during any Philly sports team event.  She insists I've gotten worse with age.  Seabiscuit's seen me in action.

What the heck should we do? Not discuss the ins and outs of each game in a seasonal thread? I mean, if there is something we don't like what should we do?
