people are burying the lead imo....the vick answers as ridiculous as they are were expected and were classic banner inc arrogance

the mcnabb comments were completely out of nowhere...were actually brutally honest and sort of refreshing and most of all almost unbelievable

Yes, that was the team stance all along.  Not sure if it was Reid or Roseman, but they said that they had at least one better offer on the table but that McNabb preferred to go to Washington, so they made it happen.

im not even mad at the mcnabb trade...i actually think its kind of a cool thing to do as long as the offers werent grossly different and all indications are that they werent....i just cant believe banner admitted it on radio

While I agree that it is weird that Banner would admit it flat-out (and I'd love to see the transcript), Reid said basically the same thing the day of the trade:

"This was a decision that we thought was best for Donovan and, at the same time, the compensation was right for us," Reid said. "We certainly took into consideration Donovan's feelings here. ... We wanted to inevitably do what was good for us and good for Donovan."

"BEST" for Donovan

I was pretty much going to say this, I can say with pretty high certianty that I have never listened to one of his interviews. I can't stand the guy, why would i listen to him?
