the ending of a post apocalyptic movie about people trying to find the last surviving bible and use it to dupe the surviving population had, get this, a hard to believe ending?

whoa, that's hard to believe

The Slammin Salmon- the latest Broken Lizard movie.  it has it's funny moments, it's really predictable, but the cast is solid as usual.  if you liked Super Troopers and Beerfest, you'll like this.  if you don't, farg off.

Spoiler alert:

The part about Denzel's charcter being blind the whole time is. He whooped up on way too many bad guys to be blind, I don't care how aware he is.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

I just watched "Book of Eli" last night. I liked it SOOOOOO much.

I gave it 8 out of 10 for reasons of being very entertaining.

Why is it that there is always some icehole (not calling you an icehole Cole)....but there's always some icehole bitching about something that is not 'believeable' in a god damn FICTIONAL story?

The worst one that I heard was that 'Star Wars' was not believeable.

Jesus christ people.

I've heard from a couple people that Unthinkable with Samuel L. Jackson is good. Anyone seen it?

I watched Sherlock Holmes the other day on dvd. I was expecting it to be completely awful, but it wasn't too bad. I like that they played up Holmes' insecurity over being stuck in Watson's friend zone.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Daybreakers - pretty lame. It starts off like it could be semi-interesting and then falls apart at the end with a bunch of cliches. Last second saves, dramatic poses, cheesy dialogue, etc.

Okay, so I finally caught Shutter Island. I saw most of it coming a mile away, like others have said. Still, I think the imagery was pretty good, and the story is such (a little twist after the big twist) that it spurs discussion long after the movie is over, which makes it good cinema in my book.

The ladyfriend watched New Moon last night. I fell asleep. What I saw was even worse than what I saw of the original. These movies are pretty close to the worst things I've ever seen. Although I do sort of have a thing for Kristen Stewart, which is weird since she isn't super hot. Whatever. Do not watch these movies.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

It's inevitable I'm going to watch...partly because my girl has a thirst for this series (team edward)...and partly because I now have to see this whole series through (team jacob).

I also have a thing for the 'not immediately but she starts growing on you and she ends up falling into the wifey/girlfriend type hot category' Kirsten Stewart does.

Rome

It's one thing to be forced to watch Harry Potter movies but I do so because of the kid.  I mean, she has to watch baseball with me, so it's only fair that I watch those things on the rare occasion they're released or on HBO or whatever.

I draw the farging line at the vampire shtein.  Divorce me, disown me, take every cent to my name but I will NOT watch that mawkish post-adolescent bullshtein.  No way, no how.

You're so sexy when you put your foot down about movies.

i watched the first one and mocked it so unmercifully that my girl watched the other two with friends.
