The main argument that I've heard in favor of putting it there is that it will help pay some of the costs of the new stadium.  Funny, I don't remember hearing Philly or Pittsburgh or even Seattle saying they needed the Super Bowl to help pay for their new stadiums.  I hope 3 feet of snow drop on NY 48 hrs before kick off.

Nah, I want to see freezing rain the week before and right on through the game. The fan experience will be so much more enjoyable when everyone is soaked and freezing.

Who cares? I will literally never shell out 1000s of dollars for a Super Bowl ticket so they could have it on the moon and I wouldn't give a shtein.

I don't mind a northern Super Bowl but I do think that if you're going to do that, it should rotate relatively evenly around the whole league like the baseball All-Star game. It shouldn't be used to give preferential treatment to certain markets (like NYC) that are clearly favored by the NFL.

It would be cool as shtein if the Eagles beat the Giants in the NFCCG and then won the Super Bowl over the Jets in that gilded outhouse.

why?...ny is the best city on the planet...why should a shteinhole like detroit or pittsburgh get equal treatment

i agree the game should probably rotate amongst cities...but it should amongst cities that can provide the necessary off the field amenities...chicago and ny are the only cold weather cities that should ever get it

a ny superbowl is a great idea. who gives a shtein about fairness. new york is more important than any other city in the nfl, usa, world, etc. accept that and stop being so insulted that it gets preferential treatment compared to philly. were in and always be in ny's shadow. its a better city.
