JaMarcus Russell to be cut.

I read somewhere today where Peter King, I think, said that the Eagles would have interest because of Phil Savage having some cnnection to him.

Whats with him linking every QB to the Eagles?

Tebow...EAGLES HAVE INTEREST!
Russell...yeah right

Santonio Holmes was kicked off a plane in Pittsburgh because he wouldn't turn off his iPod

QuoteFLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- Authorities at Pittsburgh International Airport filed an incident report after New York Jets wide receiver Santonio Holmes failed to follow flight regulations by not turning off his iPod as the plane he was on was landing.

YES!  kick him off the plane he is already getting off of.  that'll show 'em.

That makes the story 8000 times awesomer.

to be fair i still dont understand how an ipod battery that isnt sending out any kind of signal can mess up expensive plane equipment, but what can you do.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

QuoteBut what about laptops, iPods, and other devices that don't have to receive signals to work? The reason these devices are banned is that they emit radio waves. All wireless devices do, and the navigation and flight control computers on airplanes are designed to sense even very weak signals coming from far away. Radio waves with just the right power and frequency can in theory introduce errors in computing equipment.

The man. The myth. The legend.

nevermind why an ipod might interfere with computers...the people who run the plane ask you to turn it off, you do what they say.

Airlines have always been anal about personal electronic devices on the plane. I remeber back in the day when they'd have me turn off my Walkman for take off and landing.  Never really had a problem with it. What gets me is when they make you put your seat up. The farging thing only reclines about 3 inches to start with. In the event of a crash is it really going to make a difference what position my seat is in?

Never really understood the logic behind that one.
