If it squirts your pickle, go ahead.  I could use a laugh.

Won't change my opinion that this was a terrible decision.

Could you go back to a week or two ago and quote when I said the Eagles would do something stupid in the draft? I completely agree with Dio that the Eagles did not get a player that is worth the lost draft picks.

I didn't mean to say that there aren't good players on the board... Just that there aren't any I'd really like to see the Eagles take at 37.  So they might as well get a few more picks.

Let me throw this question out there: Would you rather have the #55 (own 2nd round pick) or both 3rds?

When I first learned of the trade I was happy they didn't have to part with either of their 2nds. When I heard two thirds I was hoping one was for next years draft since they'll probably have 2 then too. It's early and my mind is elsewhere but I'm having trouble thinking of a 3rd pick the Eagles have taken that has amounted to shtein (Westbrook/Bradley/Burgess are exceptions).

I'd love to see them trade Vick today for to get one of those 3rd rounders back...

That would be great, but I think Andy loves his "versatility" too much for that. If only one of Vick's versatile assets was the ability to play QB

SD

If any team at any point would have offered a 3rd for Vick he'd be gone by now. Despite what he thinks of himself and the Eagles thought when they got him he's worth no more than a 6th.

DH

So trade him and a 6th for a 3rd then. Draft Skelton or sign Garcia and call it a day. farg Vick - It's not cute anymore; Im done with this shtein

Yeah, well, I like to stretch myself on occasion

Caplan and SalPal are saying there's rumblings of the Eagles taking Mcluster. Wouldn't have a problem with the pick if thre weren't other glaring needs. Not to mention if those two are saying it there's probably zero validity considering they weren't even close with the Graham pick.

If they take Taylor Mays at 37 I will be happy.

SD

I won't, I'd rather have Nate Allen

If Sergio Kindle drops at all he'd be a nice fit at SAM. He played DE last season but before Orakpo left he was the full time SAM. He's 6'3 250, can blitz, and has the speed to cover NFC East TE's. He was originally projected as a mid to late first round pick. And before the comparison is made he's not asian or an engineering major.

I see the Eagles trading out of 37.

I see it happening if they get a decent deal from Buffalo (maybe their 4th?) trying to move up from #41 to jump ahead of Cleveland at #38 and Oakland at #39.  Minnesota might take one of the QBs at #34 to replace Favre, but the Rams, Bucs and Chiefs won't take the other one, so the Eagles could be sitting in a nice spot assuming Buffalo isn't trying to deal with those three teams directly.  Carolina at #48 needs a QB too but it might be too far to drop....

But where would that leave the Alex Hall/Moise Fokou camp competition?!?
