the afc and nfc logos are fine.  never paid enough attention to realize that there was a significance to the number of stars they had.  makes sense, although i could really care less.

the conf championship trophies are horrible looking.  now i have a reason to root for the eagles to keep not winning them. 

and the playoff logos are pretty horrible too.  total downgrade from the old ones.  they should try again.

New playoff logos suck
New trophies suck.
New AFC and NFC logos are okay, though I think I'd like the stars in the A to be split up to two stars on either side. But either way, it's unimportant.

since the number of stars represent the number of divisions in the conference, it was actually pretty stupid that the old afc logo had 6 stars since there used to only 3 divisions.

The playoff game logos are really bad. They look like menu options from a Nintendo 64 game.

And I just don't like the idea of Lombardi-izing everything. The NFL championship trophy should stand alone. Now the conference trophies look like weak knockoffs, like illegitimate sons of the Lombardi Trophy. The old conference trophies weren't great to begin with, but they are getting worse.

i like the old conf trophies but wouldn't mind new ones if they didn't suck so bad.  your illegitimate child analogy is spot on.
