That game never really got out of hand. It went 3-0, 3-1,4-1, then hit 5-1 right at the end of the 2nd. If it stayed that way all the way through the 3rd it could have gotten chippy, but the Habs made it 5-2 6 minutes into the 3rd. After Powe got the boarding penalty again, I think the only thing that prevented someone taking a run at him was the scoring of the PP goal 9 seconds into it.

all the shtein that happened in the previous game that you claimed would lead to fights in the second matchup happened in a one goal game....but now 5-1 5-2 is to close to fight

I still don't see where I claimed it would lead to so many fights. I definitely said there would be a fight, and I assumed it would have come from Carcillo. I never even disputed your o/u of 1. I just laughed when it happened 4 seconds into the game.

5-1 happened with 9 seconds left int he 2nd period.

Then 5 minutes into the 3rd, Powe boarded somebody AGAIN. If the Habs don't score on that PP, there's no doubt someone woulda thrown down, or at the very least took a run at Powe for his 2nd boarding in 2 games.

but seriously folks...

they have been talking to Nashville, apparently regarding their defenseman Dan Hamhuis.  rumors are that Parent may be involved in the deal.  Dan Ellis has also been rumored from Nashville, a young goalie.
