IGY i was surprised as anyone, but shtein, they won 6-2, way to toot your own horn there.  How farging gay are Habs fans, PK PK.  The kid is a god in 2 games with 2 points.  Its funny all the shtein Montreal talked prior to the game, that the Flyers were Akin to Nazi's, and that the flyers would have to answer to Friday's game.  Instead, Powe blows up Pletkanc, in a hit where a frog turned into the boards again.  Laperriere drops O'byrne in one punch, and the Habs retreat like the farging Germans advancing on Paris.  flag frenchies.  That said, the wife and i decided last night that since Kids may not be on tap anytime soon, we're gonna go to Montreal and Toronto to see the flyers play.  Hoping to get out to to Edmonton/vancouver/Calgary at some point also.

nope just showing you it goes both ways...next two games maybe the flyers have less PP

but i doubt it since only seven teams in the nhl have had more PP chances than the flyers...and carolina (hardly a team the league is looking out for) has the most....flyers would probably lead the league if they didnt have hartnell and carcillo

btw montreal is dead last

and thus the last two games played out the same way the rest of the season thus far has

Kerry Fraser is retiring and his last game will be a NYR/Flyers game April 11th.  He's being kicked out of the league by Campbell and Bettman for not calling games how they want them called

I was up there for the Game 5 clincher in 08. It was definitley one of the cooler spots I've been at.

that doesnt exactly tell me the league is looking out for them

you ever think they are up top in PP chances because they have multiple world class players on their team and dont employ multiple idiots/goons who go out draw lots of penalties

I dont disagree that having great players makes other teams have to take penalties, but they chances the Pens get, gifts, are still egregious.  And having players like Hartnell and Briere doesnt help, Hartnell takes the dumbest penalties you'll ever see, and Briere is the high sticking champ.  That said, they have played better as of late, and as a whole the team is certainly playing within Laviolette's system.  It just sucks when they get rolling, the Olympic break happens, and they most likely will start off afterwards cold as farg as they normally do post olympics

doesnt really matter how hot or cold they get...they are an average easter conf. team whos best hope is a run similar to 2008

Those tix are worth every penny...few things beat the atmosphere of a Flyers home playoff game.
