you are running in circles of stupidity and arguing with yourself about nothing

either stop or kill yourself. the latter would be preferable.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Munson

lol I'm not arguing with myself about nothin. It's entertaining egging you two fargs on. A lot of people playing a sport for recreation doesn't = the most popular sport. The amount of fairweather fans when a local team does good sky rockets, then they all completely disappear once the season is over. Because they in reality don't care what the team does in the end and if they lose just go "meh maybe next year".

Basketball is fun to play and it's easy to get a game going pretty much anywhere, USA....but it ranks just above golf and soccer on the "sports that are compelling to watch when it's not an important game/the team is zesty" meter.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

remember that time when we talked about college basketball in this thread?

good times.

Remember that time when MDS, Munson and IGY all died in an embarrassing act of sexual experimentation? Good times.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

these last 2 pages are an embarrassment to the internet.  well done.

It was awesome wasn't it? they get so riled up when someone tells them basketball sucks to watch most of the time.

i was mostly referring to you.  but yes, the other knuckleheads are involved are almost as awful.   for them, it's curable.  for you, not so much.

Eagles_Legendz

College basketball is my second favorite sport after the NFL.  The big 5 isn't what it was but it's still amazing, and watching Nova/Temple is easily as entertaining to me (actually more) than the Flyers/76ers/and probably a generic Phillies game as well.

phattymatty

ugh. apparently the move to expand the tourney is all but done.  way to farg up the most perfect thing in sports iceholes.

MDS

Unsure if its 96 or 69.

69 I could live with. Basically all 15 and 16 seeds play play in games. That's not awful. 96 would be.

yeah 69 is obviously better but still retarded.  you're still going to have people bitching that the 70th and 71st teams didn't get it.  leave it alone.

ice grillin you

i like it a lot dont get me wrong...but the tournament is unbelievably overrated

the selection show is ten times better than the actual games

in fact the buildup to the first two days of the tourney is so awesome that when the thing actually happens its almost always anti climatic...

altho i will say the first two days are terrific...the next three weeks not so much
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

phattymatty

worst thing you've ever said.

this is the topper

i love the tourney.  can't believe they're expanding it even more.  whatever.  more games = more money.

obviously there's some blowout games that aren't worth watching unless you're a fan of that particular school, but the tourney always has at least 2 or 3 really great upset games in the first 3 rounds, which is what makes it so much fun to watch.  and most games sans 1-16/2-15 matchups in the first round tend to be relatively close, hard fought games, many of which come down to the final 2 minutes.

7-10 matchup in the first round always seems to be where the best action is and the source of some of the best upsets.

not really...but thats why its overrated because so many people seem to believe this

once in a blue moon youll have a GW or a richmond over syracuse but its a lot less rare than people realize

another huge misnomer is the amount of buzzer beaters....most people think there are a lot but in reality its just that the ones that do happen get replayed into the ground so people get fooled into thinking each tournament has a bunch of them

of course there are a couple great games each tournament but they are far outweighed by non descript boring or just plain bad games
