its not like she was the top high school quarterback in texas or the best basketball player in new york city...she was a womens bb player from friggin delware...lol...in fact she wouldnt have even been one of the best players on uconn..she would blended in nicely....perfect for if you supposedly have burnout...in fact she could have redshirted

She was considered one of the best womens basketball recruits in history and was gettin looks and stories written about her since she was in middle school. I remember in the last championship game I saw here, she was going up against a team with another top recruit (Kadisha Rushdan, is at Rutgers now but I think she blew her knee out), and put up 50 points. That was more than the other team scored the entire game.

But yeah, she was "just another player"....she took a year off from basketball and has still gone over 30 points a few times in her first season back.

And again i don't think you understand how big of a deal she was here. It IS Delaware, after all...the girl couldn't go anywhere in the state without someone recognizing her and shtein. I felt bad for her.

the one thing i absolutely love about college basketball is watching kids come in as freshmen and developing their game over 3 or 4 years and growing into great all around players and collins is just that.  i don't know if he'll achieve the same level of success in the pros but dude is seriously fun to watch in college.
