#2 seed, 1st-round bye, and they wouldn't face Dallas in the divisional round (since they'd be the #6 seed and would have to go back to New Orleans if they pulled off an upset on wildcard weekend)

game is not on nbc because the nfl "gave one" to fox because they dont have the superbowl and nbc stole a bunch of their games earlier in the season.

i didnt know the nfl had the right to mediate those discussions, but apparently they do. but i like the 415 spot better.

I read something that the number of NBC games has to be evenly split between NFC and AFC by the end of the contract and the NFC is ahead by 4, so this closes the gap...

he said nbc wanted this game real bad, but then fox whined and complained the nfl stepped in and said no. to be fair, nbc/espn took 1 out of every nfc east matchup, so fox does have a right to bitch about them stealing eagles/cowboys again.
