Pitt is a natural choice although being in the Big East they still get an automatic BCS bid if they win the conference plus the Big East in mens hoops >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> the Big Ten.

What about West Virginia or Louisville?  The problem with it being an eastern team is that Michigan/Michigan State or Indiana/Purdue would be split between divisions.  Another idea:  Iowa State to tbe BigTen and TCU to the Big XII...

A quick draft note:  Washington QB Jake Locker is staying for his senior season instead of getting picked by St. Louis or Buffalo...

nobody gives a crap where indiana goes or purdue for that matter...divisional balance would be a very minor concern...anyway if you put tcu in the big 12 the same thing happens as they have 6 okie/texas schools in the south and tcu would make seven

west virginia has way to crappy academics for the big ten

iowa state geographically makes sense but they bring nothing to the conference...no tv market....no fans...no money...no basketball

louisville is certainly a possibility

my hope is pitt but i i think missouri makes the most sense...rutgers is a long shot but a possibility because of the ny market

of course this is all a moot point if nd were to ever get dropped by nbc and want in a conference...but thats probably not happening

romey pitt could care less about how much better the big east is than the big ten in basketball...the big ten give them so much more than the big east ever could...the $$$$$ discrepency is enormous

for millions of bucks they would....people have done a lot less for money

plus pitt isnt a big basketball school...theyve had a nice run lately but they have advanced past the sweet sixteen exactly one time and have never made a final four...they are a football school all the way

looking forward to the espn 30 for 30 edition of "the u" tonight.  basically college football's version of the fab 5.....except they actually delivered.

Yes. I couldn't wait to see this. I just got done watching it on DVR and it was great. Corben did an awesome job. It was cool seeing some of the things I'd forgotten about or things I didn't know because I was still pretty young back then.

I watched this last night on DVR for some reason I actually did know that Miami sucked before the early to mid '80s.  Watching I forgot how much I hated them as a kid.  I didn't mind a lot of what they did but when you completely show up another person and get in his face you deserve to have your ass beat.

Its funny a lot of these guys years later are still the same dumb asses.  A lot of them were trying to blame the media for their thug image.  I liked how Michael Irvin said its not the media's fault we were thugs.

Villanova won the FCS championship  :yay

and apparently Jake Locker went back for his senior season because he wasn't given a 1st-round grade, even though Todd McShay had him #1 overall. ha

This.

Sgt PSN

i don't think anyone had locker at #1 overall, just had him as the #1 qb going into the draft.

Good deal.  Montana fans were talking crap last year at the UR championship game.  Of course, that Montana-App State game was one heck of a game.

Shady's replacement at Pitt (Dion Lewis) is a farging beast.   He fumbled the ball earlier thru the end zone, otherwise he'd have two rushing td's already today.

Urban Meyer stepping down at Florida.

if by "focus on his health" he means a head coaching job in the nfl, then i agree with his definition.

PhillyPhreak54

I thought that too, but he'd really tarnish himself there if he used a heart condition as an out only to take an NFL job.

My thought?

Him and Tebow are a package deal to whichever franchise wants Tebow.

Welcome to Jacksonville, Urban and Tim!!
